Proposed Federation of The Garendon High School and Burleigh Community College from 1st January 2012
Proposal
Governors at Thorpe Hill Campus wish to formalise the successful collaborative partnership that is already in place between The Garendon High School and Burleigh Community College by entering into a Federation, in accordance with The School Governance (Federations) (England) Regulations 2007.
A Federation is a formal and legal agreement by which the governing bodies of two or more schools are re-constituted to form a single governing body.
The Federation will be formally known as The Thorpe Hill 11-19 Federation and be incorporated on 1 January 2012.
