Thorpe Hill 11-19 Campus to Host 2012 Inclusive Sports Event

When:             On Tuesday 8th November, 9am-12pm
Where:            Thorpe Hill 11-19 Campus (Burleigh site), Loughborough

Content:
 
•        270 Year 9 students from Limehurst and  Garendon High Schools
•        14 teams identified as countries
•        7 sports – boccia, wheelchair air tennis, seated volleyball, competitive dance mats, kurling and table skittles
•        Organised and delivered by the student Body
 
Aims:
 
•         To know more about the Olympic and Paralympic Games Values
•         To experience a range of activities
•         To work as a team
•         To meet new people
•         To  have fun!


This is an exciting opportunity for Year 9 students to experience sports in an inclusive environment whatever their ability. The day has been organised at Thorpe Hill 11-19 campus by students in Years 10, 12 and 13
