(including Teaching Staff, Support Staff, Community College Staff and Governors)
AIM
To ensure that all staff have access to high quality training relevant to the College’s development needs.
GOALS
1. To ensure that all staff are adequately supported in their work.
2. To ensure that staff development activities are within the context of the College Development Plan.
3. To ensure that any training takes into account individual staff’s personal needs arising from performance management or annual interviews.

IMPLEMENTATION
An Assistant Principal, Director of Education Development, (AP) has responsibility for the training needs of the whole staff, including management of the Training Budget. This person is assisted by the Vice Principal, Administration, (VPA) for support staff, the Vice Principal, Community, (VPC) for community tutors and the Link Governor (LG) for the governing body of the College.
