These skills will be developed:
The study of a range of demanding and interesting texts from different historical periods.
Reading, analysis and production of a range of media forms such as films, advertising and documentaries.
Original writing in a variety of forms for a range of purposes.
Opportunities for study in Post 16:
Students can move on to AS English Literature, AS English Language or AS Communication Studies (and then progress to A2 level should they wish).
