Community Police Officer
"I am the Principle Beat Officer for the Sharpley and Garendon Estate and I am also responsible for policing the local schools in the area.
I have been a police officer for the past five years and have worked in community policing for over a year. Most of my service has been spent with the Norfolk Constabulary and I transferred to the Leicestershire Constabulary in July 2006.
My main aim is to prevent and detect crimes, deliver a local policing service and respond to community issues.
There are two Police Community Support Officers on the team, PCSO 6009 Rachel Sharpe and PCSO 6050 Danielle Bevan. Their role is to work closely with me, to support victims of crime and provide a visible presence in the local community.
