Addendum to the Complaints Policy

The following points should be added:

The Governors also adopt the Leicestershire County Council Policy in relation to Section 409 Complaints. This deals with:

(a) Complaints about the National Curriculum, including RE, Collective Worship and Sex Education.

(b) Complaints about the implementation of the National Curriculum and exemptions from it.

(c) Complaints about the establishment of a Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education and the review of an agreed syllabus and disapplication of the requirement for schools to hold an act of worship of a broadly Christian nature.
