Burleigh gains Partnerships for Employment Award

Burleigh Community College’s Library Manager Sheila Holland attended the RNIB college for the 5th Annual Partnerships for Employment Award where she was presented with an award for the part Burleigh Learning Resource centre played in the provision of work placement facilities for an RNIB Collegestudent during the past year.
Sheila said “that by providing a placement for RNIB Collegestudents, Burleigh had gained a greater insight into the needs of people with disabilities. And that the Learning Resource Centre would continue to provide placements in the future”
