Boarding at Burleigh Almost Outstanding

Burleigh Community College’s Boarding provision is very close to being ‘Outstanding’! These are the findings of the recent OFSTED inspection that has taken place at Field House, the home of Burleigh Boarding, in Loughborough. Whilst the overall quality rating was ‘Good’ a considerable number of aspects were judged in the highest category of ‘Outstanding’. These areas included staying safe, positive contribution and enjoying and achieving.

"We are very proud of our Boarding provision" stated John Smith the Principal of Burleigh Community College . Field House really is a little gem that provides a very unique dimension to the College and we are proud and pleased for the students and staff who work and live there.

Field House currently provides Boarding facilities for 40 students and this is now being expanded with 10 more places being available from September.

Currently there are students from all over the World living at Field House and all are education at Burleigh Community College .

This means all Burleigh students have the opportunity to mix, meet and socialise with students with different global and cultural backgrounds. This helps broaden horizons and develop an international understanding.
