Start something new this Summer.

We have courses to improve your health and fitness including Yoga, Tai-Chi (including a Saturday taster session), Pilates, Men’s Fitness, Aerobics and dance classes such as Modern, , Musical Groove, Hip Hop Body Jammin’ and Belly Dancing.

All of our IT courses remain popular and they could improve your job prospects or help you to use your home computer more effectively. You may study for a qualification or just complete individual units such as Excel, Word, Sage and Access etc. Courses such as CLAIT and ECDL lead to nationally recognised qualifications. In addition we have a course designed for the over 50’s that allows you work at your own pace and a Dreamweaver course which is useful for web site design.

New language classes include Holiday Spanish and French and Turning Japanese looks at Japanese language and culture. For more advanced learners we have Le Club Francais.

A wide range of Arts and Crafts courses are running this term including Summer Landscapes in Watercolours, Jewellery Making and Soft Furnishings & Dress Making. Or why not try something entirely new such as Hairdressing, Video Editing, Golf for Beginners or learn to play the Guitar.  Burleigh is also pleased to offer a unique Careers Coaching course, which could enhance your career prospects, together with a one-day course in Interview Skills.

Summer is also a great time to develop photography skills with an Introductory compositional course, an Improvers for those more experienced and an Enhancing Digital Photography course to manipulate your existing photos.

We are continuing to develop a number of short courses on a Saturday, for example: - Hopi Ear Candling, Reiki, Reflexology for Hormonal Problems and for those working in the food industry we also run a one-day Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
