Following on from the extremely well received production of Grease last year. The students at Burleigh Community College are presenting the musical Oliver from 2nd to 4th December.

With a cast of 45 students, the show stars:

Matthew Gardner as Oliver, Emma Peach as Nancy, Sam Hyde as Dodger, Colin Smith as Fagin and Matthew Hankin as Bill Sykes

Students have also taken responsibility for design, choreography and as the stage crew, so everyone, whatever their skill or interest, has been able to get involved.

Joint Curriculum Team Leader for Expressive Arts, Michael Gamble, said "Last year was so well received by everyone who saw the show that we wanted to once again put on a performance of a similar exceptional standard. The talent of our students is incredible and I know that everyone who comes will have a fabulous time."
