(Plus an additional 40 hours to be worked during school closure)
8.15AM – 4.15PM MONDAY AND TUESDAY
9.00AM – 1.00PM (HOLIDAY COVER)

Burleigh Community College requires a Part Time Receptionist/Telephonist to work on a Monday and Tuesday (and some holiday cover) as part of a Job Share for our attractive visitor Reception area. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the college. They will need to have a pleasant, confident and professional manner and be able to work on their own initiative with team support.
The successful candidate must have switchboard experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and word processing ability.

TEACHER OF ENGLISH
TMS plus TLR 2-1 £2,477
We require from September 2010, a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of English. The English Department is lively and friendly with proven experience in supporting and developing new colleagues. There are opportunities to teach across the age and ability range. Subjects taught in the Curriculum Area are GCSE English, English Literature and Media Studies, Advanced Level English Literature, English Language and Communication Studies.

TEACHER OF ICT

We require from September 2010 a well qualified and enthusiastic teacher of ICT to join a large and friendly Curriculum Area. This is a college which offers a large range of opportunities both inside and outside the classroom for the enterprising and dynamic teacher.

ICT is taught throughout the College to all abilities and at all levels including GCSE, BTEC First ICT Practitioners and Applied AS/A2 ICT. In addition we offer AS/A2 Computing.

Advanced Skills Teacher
English, ICT or Expressive Arts
