Open the door on Psychology
A chance to get behind the myths about psychology, explore the complex world of
motivation and gain insight into the processes of memory. Examples will be taken from
everyday life. We will also explore the influences and processes that promote and
perpetuate addiction and, finally, look at the theories that started off psychology as a
subject of study. Previous knowledge not necessary.

Living with the Internet
The internet is now a key part of everyday life, with new features emerging all the time
to help us keep in touch, shop, sell, make comparisons and enhance hobbies. So, if
things such as downloading, blogging, pod casting, YouTube, Facebook, iplayer,
Audacity, messaging, Picasa and Flickr are still a mystery to you, then this course is for
you. Some knowledge of the internet, emailing and file management is necessary.
