Community Education
Burleigh is Loughborough’s Community College and each year thousands of local
people use our facilities.
The College caters for all ages and most interests and we are one of the country’s largest providers of community education.
We have a large adult education programme catering for 2,000 adults per year. In addition we have created a partnership with East Midlands Technical Training to deliver electrical installation courses and with Athena Training Academy to

We have a large adult education programme catering for 2,000 adults per year. In addition we have created a partnership with East Midlands Technical Training to deliver electrical installation courses and with Athena Training Academy to
deliver Beauty Therapy courses. We are a UK On-Line Centre and the town's
Open University Study Centre.
Burleigh has a playgroup, over 1000 children attend our sport coaching and childrens swimming, badminton, gymnastics and multi-sport sessions.
In September 2006 we launched the children's Burleigh Dance Academy.
Local and National groups hire Burleigh's facilities for a variety of activities and thousands of adults participate in recreational activities through affiliated groups. The college is also used for weddings and other private functions.
The adult education progamme at Burleigh is organised and financed by the Burleigh Community Association, a registered charity estabished to promote community education in the Loughborough area.
