Community Education

Burleigh is Loughborough’s Community College and each year thousands of local people use our facilities. 

The College caters for all ages and most interests and we are one of the country’s largest providers of community education.

We have a large adult education programme catering for 2,000 adults per year.  In addition we have created a partnership with East Midlands Technical Training to deliver electrical installation courses.  We are also a Test Centre for the British Computer Society (BCS) and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

We also deliver courses at other venues within businesses. For example we have a partnership agreement to provide British Sign Lanaguage courses for East Midlands Trains at their stations for all levels of employees such as Ticket Office staff and Drivers.
