Community Education
Burleigh is Loughborough’s Community College and each year thousands of local
people use our facilities.
The College caters for all ages and most interests and we are one of the country’s largest providers of community education.
We have a large adult education programme catering for 2,000 adults per year. In September we created a new electrical installation department and expanded the dance and language programme. We are a UK On-Line Centre and the town's Open University Study Centre. On site is a Day Care Centre for adults with physical disabilities.

Burleigh has a playgroup, over 1000 children attend our sport coaching and swimming sessions, hundreds of young people participate in the youth programme and thousands of adults participate in recreational activities. In September we launched the children's Burleigh Dance Academy.
Local and National groups hire Burleigh's facilities for a variety of activities. The college is also used for weddings and other private functions.
The adult education progamme at Burleigh is organised and financed by the Burleigh Community Association, a registered charity estabished to promote community education in the Loughborough area.
